- 本書英文原名 Anthropology as Cultural Critique: An Experimental Moment in the Human Sciences，1986 年由芝加哥大學出版社出版；1999 年推出第二版，討論出版後人類學面臨的新挑戰
- 中文版書名《文化批判人類學》，台灣版作者署名喬治・馬庫斯，目前已絕版
