¿Quién es el autor?
- 羅伯・葛林 (Robert Greene)，1959 年生，在洛杉磯長大；先後就讀加州大學柏克萊分校與威斯康辛大學麥迪遜分校，取得古典學學士學位。成為作家前，做過大約五十種工作，包括建築工人、翻譯、雜誌編輯與好萊塢編劇
- 1995 年，他在義大利的藝術與媒體學校 Fabrica 擔任作家，結識出版製作人約斯特・艾佛斯 (Joost Elffers)，提出一本談權力的書的構想，最後發展成《權力的48法則》。葛林把這本書視為人生的轉捩點
- 本書 1998 年出版，全美銷售超過 130 萬冊，譯成 24 種語言。據《洛杉磯時報》報導，它成為許多饒舌歌手、華爾街人士與 NBA 球員的人生指南，在監獄裡也很受歡迎，有些監獄甚至把葛林的書列為禁書
- 中文版書名《權力的48法則》，朱家鴻譯；劉必榮、謝文憲、洪仲清、鐘穎等人推薦
