¿Quién es el autor?
- 約翰・史坦貝克 (John Steinbeck, 1902–1968)，美國小說家，生於加州薩利納斯，作品多描寫加州的勞工與農民
- 他為了寫這本書，親自前往加州的移工營地採訪，看見大批從中西部逃離沙塵暴的農民
- 本書英文原名 The Grapes of Wrath，1939 年出版，獲得 1940 年普立茲小說獎；同年由約翰・福特導演改編成電影
- 1962 年，史坦貝克獲得諾貝爾文學獎；中文版書名《憤怒的葡萄》
