Who is the author?
- 勞倫斯・彼得 (Laurence J. Peter, 1919–1990)，加拿大出生的教育學者，華盛頓州立大學教育哲學博士，曾任教師、顧問與大學教授；他提出的「彼得原理」與「墨菲定律」「帕金森定律」常被並稱為二十世紀最著名的職場法則
- 共同作者雷蒙德・霍爾 (Raymond Hull)，加拿大劇作家與作家，製作過三十齣電視與舞台劇。1963 年，他在一場演出的中場休息時聽彼得解釋這個原理，堅持應該寫成書
- 書稿 1965 年完成，卻被出版社退稿十四次，直到 1969 年才出版，隨即登上暢銷榜第一名長達二十週，譯成多種語言
- 中文版書名《彼得原理：暢銷50年商管巨作！揭露公司充滿無能人物的理由》，鍾榕芳譯；104 資深副總經理晉麗明等人推薦
