Who is the author?
- 蔡素芬，1963 年生於台南，在七股鹽田一帶長大，六歲時隨家人搬到高雄，畢業於淡江大學中文系
- 大學時期就以短篇小說獲得文學大獎，之後長年擔任報社副刊編輯
- 《鹽田兒女》1993 年獲聯合報長篇小說獎，1994 年由聯經出版，銷量超過十萬冊，1998 年改編成公共電視開台大戲
- 以「鹽田兒女三部曲」獲得第三十七屆吳三連獎文學獎
