Who is the author?
- 阿爾貝・卡繆 (Albert Camus, 1913–1960)，法國作家、哲學家、記者，生於法屬阿爾及利亞的貧窮家庭
- 他提出「荒謬」的哲學：人渴望意義，世界卻沉默無聲，生命本身沒有預設的答案
- 本書法文原名 L'Étranger，1942 年出版，是他的第一部小說，與哲學隨筆《薛西弗斯的神話》同年問世
- 1957 年，他以四十四歲之齡獲得諾貝爾文學獎，是史上最年輕的得主之一；1960 年死於車禍。中文版書名《異鄉人》
