Who is the author?
- 皮耶・修德洛・德・拉克洛 (Pierre Choderlos de Laclos, 1741–1803)，法國軍官與作家，一生只寫了這一部重要的小說
- 他長年在軍中服役，負責砲兵與防禦工事，寫作時正駐守在法國西部的艾克斯島，閒暇時完成了這部作品
- 本書法文原名 Les Liaisons dangereuses，1782 年出版，一出版就引起轟動與爭議，被視為揭露法國貴族道德墮落的作品
- 曾多次被改編為電影與舞台劇，包括 1988 年的《危險關係》與 1999 年的《致命遊戲》；中文版書名《危險關係》
