Who is the author?
- 佐佐木典士，1979 年生於日本香川縣，早稻田大學教育學部畢業，曾在多家出版社擔任編輯
- 2010 年起開始實踐減少物品的生活，2014 年與朋友共同開設網站「Minimal&ism」，分享極簡生活；他自己的生活極度精簡，只有幾套衣服、一罐洗潔精與基本的廚具
- 本書日文原名《ぼくたちに、もうモノは必要ない。》，2015 年出版，英文版書名 Goodbye, Things，被翻譯成多國語言
- 中文版書名《我決定簡單的生活：從斷捨離到極簡主義，丟東西後改變我的 12 件事！》，游韻馨譯
