- 法蘭索瓦・楚浮 (François Truffaut)，法國新浪潮的代表導演，早年也是影評人
- 1962 年他在環球影城對希區考克進行了約五十小時的訪談，由口譯海倫・史考特協助
- 訪談整理成書，1966 年在法國出版，英文版於 1967 年出版，1984 年推出增訂版；華文世界有簡體中文全譯本，台灣則多見節譯與相關研究
