Who is the author?
- 愛德華・狄波諾 (Edward de Bono, 1933–2021)，生於馬爾他，被稱為「創意思考之父」，擁有心理學、生理學與醫學學位，曾是牛津大學羅德學者，並在牛津、倫敦、劍橋與哈佛大學任教
- 他創造的「水平思考」(lateral thinking) 一詞被收入《牛津英文辭典》；一生著有八十多本書，譯成四十多種語言，也為 IBM、杜邦、殼牌石油、麥肯錫等企業與政府機關擔任顧問
- 本書 1985 年首次出版，後來推出修訂版；六頂思考帽方法風行五十多個國家，從六歲兒童到跨國企業主管都在使用
- 中文版書名《六頂思考帽（全新修訂版）：思考大師狄波諾改變全世界的創新思維工具》，劉慧玉譯，成功大學梁文韜教授與郝旭烈推薦
