- 夏娜・哈爾彭 (Charna Halpern)，1952 年生，1981 年結識克洛斯，與他共同創辦芝加哥的即興劇場 iO（原名 ImprovOlympic）
- 戴爾・克洛斯 (Del Close，1934–1999)，現代即興劇的開創者之一，發展出長篇即興形式「哈羅德」，學生包括比爾・莫瑞、提娜・費、史蒂芬・柯貝爾、艾米・波勒等人
- 金・霍華德・強森 (Kim Howard Johnson) 為共同作者；本書 1994 年出版
